Book the William Morris room

In a converted 17th century church on a hill, our fully-equipped William Morris Studio is named after our stunning unique William Morris stained glass window of The Ascension. Your Apartment is the perfect sanctuary from busy city life: country walks, delicious pubs & fascinating places to visit including the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Hepworth Gallery, RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and Wentworth Woodhouse.

A unique self-contained studio apartment with its own entrance, one comfortable king-size bed, two single beds (one pullout) and stylish en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower over.

Your kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge, kettle, microwave, washing machine, clothes airer and more with a dining area.

A daily luxury breakfast can be ordered in advance and purchased separately should you wish, which typically includes a wide variety of teas, fresh coffee, juice, fresh bread, butter, local milk, cereals, berries and homemade goodies.

The apartment also has a small sofa and two cosy chairs for relaxing and soaking up the peace and quiet or enjoying your Smart TV, books and games selection.

We have an additional adjoining suite for two- The Getaway- to accommodate groups of up to six guests. Discounted rates are available for guests who book the William Morris Apartment and Getaway/ Tower Retreat Apartments via the Airbnb app, alerting us on reservation.

Our Tower Retreat Apartment can also be booked to extend your group size. It has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, family kitchen diner and beautiful views from the spacious adjacent lounge over woodland. We have two folding JB Supreme beds which can be set up in the lounge area if required.

If you would like a personal visit up our four storey tower for the incredible views, do let us know in advance and we can often arrange a free tour.

Eagles Rise International is a Christian organisation committed to resource, strengthen, revive and renew the hearts of people. We have a unique retreat, School of Ministry and powerful prayer ministry, as well as many other services to help you.

Eagles Retreat
Eagles Retreat is a converted church in the hamlet of High Hoyland in South West Yorkshire, where Christians have worshipped since the 6th century – for us it is hallowed ground. It offers unique accommodation for individuals and small groups (exclusively or communally) for rest, refreshment and restoration in a place of immense peace and beauty.

Eagles Revive
Eagles Revive is a House of Prayer (Prayer Centre) set up to revive the hearts of the nations. We have a daily rhythm of prayer and regular communal format of praise.

Eagles Reign
A new kind of Kingdom School of Ministry, interdenominational and based in South Yorkshire.

Leadership

Tina & Jasper

We are both ministers with over fifty years of combined pastoral ministry, permanent members of The Order of Mission, trained Maxwell Leadership Coaches and Human Behaviour Consultants. Tina is also a trainer in human behaviour and won APCTC Life Coach of the Year in 2015.

We love, blessing people, encouraging and strengthening the weary and finding breakthrough strategies to empower and release people into their God-given destiny. We also love meeting new people, having fun together, watching great films and seeing new places.
